Paralympian Dinesh Deshapriya won gold at the ITTF Para Open Table Tennis (TT) (Class 09) championship which was worked out in Giza, Egypt.
In the grand finale Deshapriya beat Hussein Hassan who represented the host country in straight sets (3-0). With this win Deshapriya who had not played in an international tourney for over two years will now move up in the international TT Para rankings and qualify to play in the Word Para Athletics Championships which will be held in July 2023 in Paris, France.
