Visitors to the Lotus Tower have exceeded 150,000 spectators and will reach a revenue of Rs.100 million.
“Lotus Tower,” the tallest building in South Asia, which was opened to the public on September 15, 2022, has had an income of over Rs. 90 million earned up to October 15, 2022, through ticket sales and from food outlets that are situated inside the premises. Over 162,648 spectators visited the Lotus Tower from September 15–October 15,” said Chief Executive Officer of Lotus Tower (Pvt) Ltd., Major General (Retired) Prasad Samarasinghe.
He also said that they do not expect any Government assistance for the maintenance of the Lotus Tower and hope to complete the work with the income generated by it.
As a result, he appeals to the public to keep the area clean and not damage the property.
