Leader Kaijie Battery (Pvt) Ltd, received a Gold Award in the auto parts manufacturing - large category, at the National Industry Excellence Awards 2022 organised by the Industrial Development Board (IDB) at the Water’s Edge Hotel recently.

The ceremony was organised with the aim of promoting Sri Lanka industries and themed ‘Industrial revival revitalising country’ recognising outstanding industrialists who have contributed to the national economy.

Chairman, Leader Battery Manufacturing, Dr. Shriyanthe Cooray said, “We continuously innovate and introduce new technology to provide superior products to the local market. We are committed to maintaining the trust that customers have placed in our products. Importantly, we have been able to reduce the foreign exchange outflows from Sri Lanka to import batteries.
