The annual commemoration of music savant Sathguru Sri Thiyagaraja Swamigal was observed on Monday at the Swami Vipulananda Aesthetic Institute of the Eastern University, Nochchimunai, Batticaloa. The event was presided over by Dr. Nirmaleswery Prashanth in-charge of the music section. Director of the institute Dr. Florance Bharathy Kennady, lectures and artists participated.
