Compensation for 56 people and seven places of warships affected by terrorism at Eravur Pattu in the Eravur Pattu Chenkalady Secretarial division were given cheques worth Rs 4 million. State Minister of Backward Rural Development and Promotion of Domestic Animal Husbandry and Minor Economic Crop Cultivation Sathasivam Viyalendran who was the chief guest handed over the cheques to beneficiaries.
