The Eastern Province Department of Rural Industries held the Shilpa Abhimani awarding ceremony to honour the best performers in handicrafts competition at national and provincial level. The ceremony was held at the premises of the Eastern Province Department of Rural Industries in Trincomalee recently.
Eastern Province Rural Industries Department Director, Kavitha Uthayakumar organised the ceremony.
Eastern Province Chief Ministry’s Secretary, R.U.A. Jaleel, Eastern Province Chief Ministry’s Planning Director, A.S.M. Uwais and the National Crafts Council (NCC) Chairman Sampath Erahapola were present.
