Arrangements made to commence COVID burials

All arrangements have been made to commence the burial of COVID-19 victims, Director General of Health Services, Dr. Asela Gunawardane said.

Speaking to the media yesterday (03), Dr. Gunawardane further said that the transportation of the dead bodies will be done at Government expense.

The Extraordinary Gazette notification allowing the burial of COVID-19 victims was published on February 25^th.
