Dr. Samadhi Rajapakse, the President of the National Authority on Tobacco and Alcohol (NATA) said inoculating drug addicts and smokers is a squander.
He made this statement during a press conference which was held this morning (12).
He further stated that weak immunity and lung failure will cause death in chain smokers unlike a healthy individual.
Accordingly, it will be effective to vaccinate persons who do not consume alcohol or tobacco, Dr. Rajapakse said.
