The cabinet approved entering into an agreement to receive Covid-19 vaccines through COVAX facility.
Sri Lanka has already joined COVAX facility, a global initiative for equal distribution of Covid vaccines. Also, the World Health Organization accredited that Sri Lanka is eligible to receive vaccine through this facility.
