Mark Zukerberg owned social media platforms Facebook and Instagram and their cross messaging feature, Messenger stopped working for some users around the globe.
According to Downdetector, the online monitoring platform, the social media and related apps did not function since 09.30 GMT.
The users faced difficulty in sending messages and 'waiting for network' error message was being popped.
