Ministers Wimal Weerawansa and Bandula Gunawardane together with Founder and Chairman of Thai Sumedha Enterprises Sumedha Elpitiya on the occasion.
Incense sticks manufactured by Thai Sumedha Enterprise Private Limited are to be exported to Canada.
An event to mark this occasion was held in Kotte recently with the participation of Industries Minister Wimal Weerawansa and Trade Minister Bandula Gunawardana.
The Founder and Chairman of Thai Sumedha Enterprises Sumedha Elpitiya symbolically handed over a stock of incense sticks prepared for export to Ministers Wimal Weerawansa and Bandula Gunawardane at the launch of the new product.
Industrial Development Board (IDB) Chairman Upasena Dissanayake and Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister Priyantha Rathnayake also participated at this occasion.
