A man gazes in awe at a re-surfaced Buddha statue at the Kadadora vihara in the Kotmale reservoir bed on March 30. The water levels of the reservoirs in the central hills had receded due to the prevailing drought. The Kotmale reservoir submerged many religious monuments and villages.
