SOS Children’s Village in Piliyandala organised a job fair for the benefit of the 18+ youth community of the village and the surrounding area, recently. SOS children’s village Ambassador, former cricket player Roshan Mahanama graced the occasion as chief guest. “Currently, more than 97% of the young community in SOS villages have jobs.We have been able to produce more than 50 graduates so far. Our GCE O/L pass rate is 73 percent which is higher than the national level. Therefore, most companies welcome our children as their employees” said National Director of SOS villages Sri Lanka, Divakar Ratnadurai addressing the gathering.
