Sachin Silva of St. Peter’s College continues to lead in the Mobitel-Observer Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year voting contest for another week running.
Silva has increased his votes to 16,387 way ahead of the second placed Shehan Fernando from St. Benedict’s College while in third place is Isipathana’s Sanjula Abeywickrema. In the Division Three segment Isuru Tharaka of Galahitiyawa Central College in Minuwangoda is in the lead while Chanithra Basnayake from Bandarawela Central College trails him in the second slot.
