High Court Judge Mahinda Samayawardhena was sworn in as a Judge of the Court of Appeal before President Maithripala Sirisena recently. Justice Samayawardhena joined the judiciary in 1988 as Primary Court Judge, Additional Magistrate, Magistrate, Additional District Judge, District Judge, Criminal High Court Judge, Civil Appeal High Court Judge and finally as a Commercial High Court Judge before being appointed to the Appeal Court.
