Kusal is the latest Sinhalese movie produced by Isuru Films now being screened in the EAP film circuit.
The main character of the movie is played by a child star, Thiviru Dissanayake, a courageous boy who overcomes all the hardships he faces.
Also featured in the story are Kusal’s pet friends, Kiriya, an adorable monkey and ‘Sandy,’ his loyal dog. Others in the main cast are Arjuna Kamalanath, Amisha Kavindi, Anura Dharmasiriwardena, Sandaru Kumarasinghe and Rajitha Hiran.
Actor-Director, Arjuna Kamalanath is set to entertain audiences with this latest directorial venture, also wrote the screenplay and dialogues. The music is directed by Ranga Fernando and camera by Dilan Gunawardena.
The film which follows the theme of a mother’s love, religion, discipline and morality is full of exemplary lessons based on Kusal’s adventures with Kiriya and Sandy and is targeted at entertaining the young audience.
