An undergraduate receives the scholarship from Prof. Lashman Dissanayake.
The Alumni Unity of the University of Colombo in collaboration with the ‘67 Group presented scholarships to 51 underprivileged university students at the Faculty of Arts recently. Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Lakshman Dissanayake was the chief guest.
This was held to commemorate the silver jubilee of the ‘67 Group and to appreciate the services of university teachers.
The President of the Alumni Unity of the University of Colombo, T.G. Jayasinghe, General Secretary, Mrs. Lanka Prasada, President of the ‘67 Group, U.A. Seneviratne, Organiser Louie Nandasena, and several Alumni members were present.
