A Service of hanksgiving for the ministry of Lakshani P. Fernando, General Secretary of the Ceylon Bible Society from 2002 to-date, will be held on Saturday, December 2 at 4.00 p.m. at the Cathedral of Christ the Living Savour, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 7. Fernando is the first woman to be appointed to this post in the 190-year history of the Ceylon Bible Society. Friends and well-wishers are invited to attend the service.
