The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will hold a customary post budget seminar at 2.30 pm on Thursday, November 16 at its auditorium.
The keynote speaker of the seminar titled ‘Insights on Budget 2018’ will be State Minister of Finance Eran Wickramaratne.
Director, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Charmaine Tillekeratne will make a presentation on ‘Salient features of the Government Budget 2018 from a tax perspective’.
Presentations by the speakers will be followed by a panel discussion and an open forum, which will enable participants to ask questions and clarify matters pertaining to the Budget proposals 2018.
The panelist of the session will include State Minister of Finance and Mass Media, Eran Wickramaratne, Deputy Secretary to the Treasury, S. R. Attygalle, Chairman Tax Committee, Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and Head of Tax Services and Partner, Ernst & Young Sri Lanka, Duminda Hulangamuwa, Director PricewaterhouseCoopers, Charmaine Tillekeratne, Advisor to the Ministry of Finance, Deshal de Mel and Chief Economist, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, Shiran Fernando.
The session will be chaired by Duminda Hulangamuwa.
