Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe was the chief guest at the ceremony to hand over the keys of 100 houses purchased by the Police Department from the ‘Nilasevana’ housing complex in Wekunagoda, Galle recently. Law and Order and Southern Development Minister Sagala Ratnayake, Lands and Parliamentary Reforms Minister Gayantha Karunatilleke and Home Affairs Minister Vajira Abeywardene participated. Of the 100 houses 20 were allocated to Inspector Grades and 80 to Junior Grade officers.
