Thalassaemia: Baby Ananya needs help

One year and nine month old Baby H.M. Sithumi Ananya twin daughter of H.M.M. Chathuranga and W.A.S. Chandrakanthi is suffering from acute Thalassaemia.

Transplant Coordinator of Nawaloka Hospital, Dr. G. Ganeshanathan has recommended emergency bone marrow transplant, which is estimated to cost around Rs. 3.5m. Her twin sister will be the donor.

Her parents who cannot afford the surgical procedure, appeal to the generous public for monetary assistance.
