Troops of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) of the Army in conforming with military traditions presented a Guard Turnout plus a Guard of Honour to their Colonel of the Regiment Major General Amal Karunasekara, the newly-appointed Chief of Staff of the Army on Thursday at the SLLI Regimental Headquarters, Panagoda.
A few minutes later, the new Chief of Staff of the Army placed a floral wreath at the SLLI monument.
