The Sunday Observer spoke to Deputy General Manager and Director Finance – Shangri La Hotels Lanka (Pvt) Limited, Rajeev Garg, who has extensive experience and took up duties here, after working in UAE and Hong Kong. Amiable Rajeev was quick to appreciate the warm hospitality and friendliness of the Sri Lankan people. The model 4 bedroom unit is 2,765 square feet in extent. The Residence at One Galle Face is a fully integrated residential tower, the total investment of the One Galle Face development being around 630 million dollars. The residences will have 390 cozy apartments including 16 penthouses. A model of the tower vividly outlines the natural landscaping, making it an oasis in Colombo city. The new Shangri-La Hotel will consist of 541 rooms,7 restaurants and large banqueting facilities. “This is a soft launch of the New Show Suite, exclusively for media, and we are planning on a separate launch soon for both our valuable existing and potential buyers,” added Rajeev.
The model suite is brilliantly designed, wisely combining comfort, convenience and safety. A striking feature was the children’s bedrooms- the door knobs covered thoughtfully in a knitted material, showing the meticulous care that Shangri-La places on family.
