For better or worse, those who have been jabbed seem to be free from the fear of the covid-19 spectre because what has been drilled into their minds is the fact that the vaccine is the most effective protection against the coronavirus on the Earth. Deaths caused by coronavirus will prove the effectiveness of the vaccine. Be that as it may, those responsible should take steps to prevent future covid - clusters by monitoring public movements. Most people shamelessly act like school going kids.
Youth are being shown on TV traveling en-mass without wearing face masks. The elimination of the coronavirus can become a mere dream if people don’t have a better understanding of the virus. Indeed, there should be a better understanding of the virus among people in order to curb its spread. We should not lose sight of the fact that the country’s vaccination campaign has already spanned even the far - flung villages in the country.
Health care officials and security forces have devoted their lives to the country’s anti-covid drive. It is significant to mention that our health care officials have succeeded in inoculating 60.8% of the entire population in the country. Regrettably, some poor countries had failed to give even a single shot to their citizens. However, the tragedy befallen us is the fact that only a fistful of people who want to be heroes in the public devastate the entire mechanism by breaking quarantine rules. Some people have slipped through the anti covid -19 vaccination net.
Needless to say that the tremendous efforts made by our health care officials become futile because of an irresponsible minority in the country.
How to use hand sanitizer
We should not forget that health care officials don’t have a magic wand to eliminate the virus and that security forces don’t have magic powder to defend us against the virus. However sadly most people have forgotten the truth. Questions arise as to why people don’t give much thought to the prevailing issue.
Apparently, most people don’t have a good understanding of using hand sanitizers effectively. Some passengers can be seen using sanitizers even after buying the bus. But it is futile because they have to keep holding the handle of the seat during their journey. The recommendation of the WHO is to apply a coin-sized amount of the substance.
It is a must to rub the sanitizer over your hands and fingers thoroughly for about 20 or 30 seconds making sure to cover both sides of the hands and between the fingers. But it is wrong to apply hand sanitizers when your hands are visibly dirty. Therefore, it is better to apply sanitizers after washing your hands with soap and water.
How to wear face masks
Most people can be found wearing face masks only in the presence of police officers and health care officials. I am at a loss to understand whether men in Khaki look like coronavirus. The objective of wearing a face mask is to defend yourself against the virus. Regrettably, most people have not understood its objective.
01. Clean your hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer before touching the mask.
02. Remove a mask from the box and make sure there are no tears or holes in either side of the mask.
03. Determine which side of the mask is the top. The side of the mask that has a stiff bendable edge is the top and is meant to mold to the shape of your nose.
04. Determine which side of the mask is the front. The colored side of the mask is usually the front and should face away from you, while the white side touches your face.
If your face mask has ear loops, you have to hold the mask by the ear loops and place a loop around each ear. If your face mask has ties, bring the mask to your nose level and place the ties over the crown of your head and secure with a bow. If it is a face Mask with Bands, hold the mask in your hand with the nosepiece or top of the mask at fingertips, allowing the headbands to hang freely below hands.
Bring the mask to your nose level and pull the top strap over your head so that it rests over the crown of your head. Pull the bottom strap over your head so that it rests at the nape of your neck. Mold or pinch the stiff edge to the shape of your nose. If using a face mask with ties: Then take the bottom ties, one in each hand, and secure with a bow at the nape of your neck.Pull the bottom of the mask over your mouth and chin.
How to remove your face mask
01.Clean your hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer before touching the mask.
02. Avoid touching the front of the mask because the front of the mask is contaminated. Only touch the ear loops/ties/band.Follow the instructions below for the type of mask you are using.
03. If your face Mask has ear loops, hold both of the ear loops and gently lift and remove the mask.
04. If your face Mask has Ties: Untie the bottom bow first then untie the top bow and pull the mask away from you as the ties are loosened.
05. Face Mask with Bands: Lift the bottom strap over your head first then pull the top strap over your head.Throw the mask in the trash. Clean your hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer.
Obviously, following these rules is not hard. We don’t want to spend money on following quarantine rules. However, if we want our country to be safe from coronavirus, we have to be responsible for ourselves.
