
Sunquick Lanka (Pvt) Limited, a manufacturer of fruit concentrate, has built a ready-to-drink (RTD) manufacturing facility in Horana investing Rs. 1.6 billion.
The RTD manufacturing facility in Horana is housed with state-of-the-art machinery that conforms to strict Scandinavian standards demanded by the product.
CO-RO A/S Denmark, President Søren Holm Jensen and Sunquick Lanka Chairman Hemaka Amarasuriya, said that this facility would enable them to increase their exports. Sunquick Lanka plays an active role in contributing to the national economy by enhancing its manufacturing strength and exporting to other countries.
“We export to Asia Pacific regional countries including Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Maldives, Taiwan, and Bangladesh and with the increase of exports we would be able to bring in additional foreign exchange,” they said.
