Thai Sumeda, a manufacturer, distributor and an exporter of incense sticks in Sri Lanka recentlyhas been awarded the best award (Platinum Award ) for the ‘“ Entrepreneur of the year 2020” at the USA Business WorldInternational Awards 2020 (BWIO) held at the hotel TajSamudra, Colombo.
A number of businessmen across the world and many businessmen also from Sri Lanka were present atthe event. Thai Sumeda Chairman, SumedaElpitiya, received the award on behalf of the company.
This is the second consecutive year that Thai Sumeda is recognized for this prestigious award presented by the organizers, BWIO, USA. The company has also been recognized globally and locally at several other occasions too.
Thai Sumeda has provided many job opportunities to unemployed locals and has been exporting theproducts worldwide (mainly to the well developed countries) andbringing foreign exchange to motherland at a time that country is much needed.
