My favourite author is Martin Wickramasinghe. He has been one of the most talented writers in Sri Lanka. Every student has seen and read his novel Madol Doowa. His style of writing is very simple. Any person can enjoy reading his books. We have seen Gamperaliya and Madol Doowa on the screen. Some of his other books are Viragaya, Yuganthaya and Kaliyugaya. He was a writer who understood the human nature very well.
