‘Passion’ : A Creative cause and pathway to modern art.
Established under the Rotaract District 3220 and sponsored by the Rotary Club of Cinnamon Gardens, the Rotaract Club of Cinnamon Gardens was chartered in the year 1998 and revived in the year 2012. The movement enables young professionals between the ages 18 – 30 years to enhance and sharpen their skills, with an ultimate objective of collaborating with the community and serving the community to the best of its ability.
As the signature project of the Rotaract Club of Cinnamon Gardens, ‘Passion’ has always created an opportunity for passionate Artists’ from a variety of artistic backgrounds to have an opportunity to express their creativity and showcase their cultivated talent to the community. The Project has also acted as the bridge to the Artists success and the backbone to ensuring that their passion is duly recognized and given its creative value all the while educating Sri Lankan individuals on modern expressive art.
The two day event which will be held on the 6th and 7th of April 2018 at the Barefoot Gallery Café- Colombo 03, will not only focus on the Artists but also pave the way for the public and artistic collectors to purchase the creative work of these talented individuals at a fair and reasonable price.
