My grandmother

My grandmother is 73 years old. Her name is Udeni. Though she is old she can do her work on her own.

She loves me, helps me and makes me happy by reading stories to me.

I always try to make her happy as she makes me happy.

I help her in her religious activities. I pluck flowers for in the evening.I go to temple with her on Poya days. I also observe sil with her.

We all respect her as she is the oldest female member in our family.

I wish her long life.
