Reading is important for many reasons. When we read books we gain knowledge and information. There are many adults who cannot read well to understand the instructions on a bottle of medicine. Reading is a vital skill in finding a good job. Reading is important because it develops the mind. Reading develops the imagination and creativity. Reading helps to improve one's vocabulary. We need to read and do research to improve our lives.
