Visa has launched an initiative that invites travellers who have visited Sri Lanka to showcase the warmth they experienced here.
#RepostSriLanka went live as Visa’s initiative to encourage tourists to visit Sri Lanka.
The Instagram led initiative, estimated to reach seven million Instagrammers, is expected to gather momentum as an innovative venture that will support and uplift tourism. Showcased through the @visasrilanka Instagram page, #RepostSriLanka invites all those who have visited Sri Lanka to share their memories, moments and photos taken during their visit, on their own Instagram feeds to retell the story of Sri Lanka’s beauty. Contributors can tag their photos with the #RepostSriLanka hashtag and @visasrilanka so Visa can connect with them and inspire others.
“We are delighted to launch #RepostSriLanka as an initiative for travellers to come and experience the beauty and hospitality of the country,” said Visa’s Country Manager for Sri Lanka and the Maldives, Anthony Watson.
“Reaching out to tourists who have visited or are planning to visit Sri Lanka, Visa believes this campaign can boost the tourism sector in the country,” said Head of Marketing, India and South Asia, Visa, Sujatha V. Kumar.
