Pearl of the Indian Ocean
Intertwined like a honeycomb
We being so diverse yet
Aligned and connected divinely
Each having their own
Compartment of gifting
To be governed and used
For the benefit of all
And the nation’s best!
Let us lay aside
Every weight that so easily
Beset us and run with patience
The race set before us
Looking unto the author
And finisher of our faith!
Hear the cloud of witnesses
Cheering as you finish
Your appointed race
As rains of revival
Refresh this nation!
