The program organised for children to enjoy and value nature, will be held at the Baddegana Wetland Park next Sunday, December 2. Organised by the Wildlife and Nature Protection Society of Sri Lanka (WNPS), this half day activity is for children between the ages four to 12.
“The Wetland Walk program is about children and their parents being taken on a guided nature walk in groups, on an urban wetland.
Children and parents exploring together is expected to generate interest in parents to continue the learning experience even at home,” said the organisers. The program is available for an intake of 100 children.
The program starts at 7.30 a.m. at the Beddegana Wetland Park and is scheduled to end at 11 a.m.
