Haro Hara! Haro Hara!, they chant as they walk from Jaffna to Kataragama, a distance of some 473 kms. It happens yearly - the spiritual walk of devotees of all ages to pay homage to God Skanda. Their faith makes them strong and courageous to walk barefoot in the hot sun, traversing jungles, encountering wild animals elephants, bears and tigers.
