The dark knight

11 March, 2018

I stood still on a field filled with grey grass.
And now, he looked at me from over his helmet with his crimson eyes.
He raised his sword.
His black horse looked at me with crimson eyes just like him.
But still, he tightly squeezed the rose in his hand.
Why didn’t he understand that I did not want any flower from him?
He just would not resist. Suddenly the horse kicked the grass with its leg.
The dark knight came running at me with his horse. As he neared me, I collapsed to the ground.
He got down from his horse, came to me, stood next to me and looked at me.
He kept the rose on my chest and stood aside me. It was a strange rose with red and black petals. It was a rare type. I took it closer to my nose and smelled the aroma.
I felt drowsy. I looked up at the sky. It was grey like the grey grass. My vision got blurred and the world around me turned smoke and grey.
(The dark knight with the rose symbolizes death.)
