A Biography on Founder/Chairman, Singhe Group, K.Rubasinghe titled, ‘Ape Thaththa’, was launched recently in Colombo. It is authored by Ananda P. Wijesinghe.
The book describes the story of an impoverished young boy whose heroic struggles against the odds, giving up his university education midway to support his family, and later, his survival from cancer and eventual triumph as a business giant, gives hope and courage to fight one’s misfortune, to all young and upcoming individuals in society.
The Guests of Honour at the launch were, Ariya Rubasinghe, Wimal Rubasinghe and author Ananda P. Wijesinghe. The latter made some noteworthy comments about K. Rubasinghe. The book launch coincided with his 70th Birthday.
