An official event to inaugurate the duties of year 2018, was held on January 2 at the Puttalam Superintendent of Police office.
SP Chandrasena chaired the event where the National Flag was hoisted and participants observed a 2 minute silence to honour the past war heroes of the country. Many Police officers and higher ups participated. All officers took an oath to give their best services and contributions to the country and the nation.
