Lakshina Rodrigo of St.Peter’s College sprang into the lead once again polling 4635 votes after being placed second last week while his team mate Santhush Gunatileka was pushed down to the second place not far with 3991 votes at the end of the 6th week count in the Sunday Obserrver/ Mobitel Most popular Schoolboy cricketer Of The year contest.
In the other two segments in division two St.Anne’s Kurunegala’s, Piyumal Sinhawansa (1627) and Charitha Basnayake from Bandarawela CC in division 3 retained their positions at top.
